Walks in the park (or nature trails in my case) just got a whole lot more comfortable and cute thanks to Sanuk. I love me a good pair of comfy flats. Especially being someone who lives in moccasins at times I was very excited to try these Sanuk sidewalk surfers. I was immediately drawn to the bright pink tweed and with winter being just around the corner, the faux shearling lining seemed too perfect. I couldn’t think of a better way to try these fur lined loafers than getting away from it all and heading out to explore some new landscapes.

Although the sun was out it was a bit chilly but the shearling did it’s thing and kept my feet warm. Talk about comfort though…these faux fur lined loafers are so soft and comfy. It almost feels like you’re walking on a plush teddy bear…You know one of those really nice and soft ones that you just wanna squish because they’re so soft. I had them on all day and did not want to take them off when I got home because they just felt too nice on.

But really, it’s no wonder they are so comfy with their blend of real yoga mat footbeds and soft surrounding material. In fact, they even held up really well on the trails. They were quite comfortable to walk in even on uneven rocky terrain. Therefore if you’re looking for comfortable footwear, whether it be for walking the trails or simply doing your grocery shopping, these will not disappoint you. Plus they come in all sorts of funky styles and patterns to keep you smiling while you walk around comfortably in your Sanuks.

#NeverUncomfortable indeed.

So we took these photos literally three days ago on Friday. And here we are Monday morning, everything is covered in snow! I’d glady teleport back to Friday, no only to do the whole weekend over again, but moreso to enjoy the double digit weather we had. Incredible how we can go from pre-summer temperature to snow in just 2 days. Welcome to the bipolar climate that we know as Toronto/GTA weather.

As much as I’m not looking forward to the winter weather, on the bright side of things this vintage tweed coat is pretty warm so it may help to make mild winter days less miserable with its bright colour and enveloping warmth. I should also point out that I am wearing two summer dresses here: a sheer lace dress worn over a simple white fitted summer dress. Could you tell?

Have any of you had your first snow fall yet? Are you looking forward to it, or looking for a place to hibernate like me?

Dress c/o Free People. Oversize scarf, Zara. Top, Joe Fresh. Bag c/o Pinkstix. Boots, Ralph Lauren (Winners).

We’ve been lucky the past two weeks with unseasonably warmer temperatures. So warm in fact, that I was able to wear my Free People tunic as a dress. Might I add, without the need for a) leggings or b) overcoat or jacket. And believe me, the blanket scarf wasn’t really needed either, but I had planned it for this look. Along with a long knit overcoat which I forgot to grab to work the morning of. Which in the end worked out because I probably wouldn’t have worn it anyways. I had been planning on transitioning this summer tunic into my Fall wardrobe anyways. Although I had planned on wearing the Free People tunic over tights or pants – I guess those looks will have to wait. But I am not complaining about being able to wear this short number bare legs and all….mid November.
