70’s Vibe

Top, jeans, vintage. Shrug, H&M. Bralette, Nasty Gal. Pumps, Aldo. Coin collar, Child of Wild.
Rings: Samantha Wills, Child of Wild, Nasty Gal.

Channeling my inner 70’s vibe hippie/bohemian spirit with this look I created using mostly vintage pieces. Lace is still dominating the runways so it was a perfect time to revive this vintage lace top, and I incorporated a retro pair of flares and suede pumps to give off a bit more of that SS2015 vibe. I must add, that we were in fact in civilization, however it only felt appropriate to take these photos out in nature where my inner flower child could run free.

The Wide Legged Pant

Jacket, similar. Faux fur stole, here. Wide legged pants, here. Boots, Aldo. Purse, Marc Jacobs. Sunnies, Dolce & Gabbana. Brooch, bebe. Gloves, similar.

Embracing my long time fashion nemesis: the wide legged pant. I realize that I very well might be the only person in the blogosphere that was not excited with the re-emergence of this trend. But the truth is, I’ve never been a fan (felt the same way about them in high school!). However, I humbly surrender and do as the SS15 runways dictate. Next step, embracing Spring‘s 70’s and flare trend, yet again.

Happy Thursday!

Skirt & faux fur stole, vintage. Cardigan, H&M. Slip, Jones New York. Purse, Marc Jacobs. Boots, Winners. Collar necklace, Nasty Gal. Ring, Samantha Wills.

Wearing a vintage lace midi skirt as a dress, accessorized with a faux fur stole and gold bohemian inspired accessories. I used a black slip (worn in between the lace and fabric layer of the skirt) to create the appearance of a two-tone dress…ensuring to hike it up accordingly so as not to obscure the delicate lace detailing of the skirt revealed at the hemline.

Happy Wednesday!
