Ballet Tulle Dress

Dress, Chicwish (here). Wedge sneakers, Steve Madden. Bracelet, Expression from The Bay. Clutch, RocaWear.

I have always wanted to prance around through the forest like a fairy wearing a ballet tulle dress. Well…I finally got my chance. There’s just something very feminine and magic about tulle for me and this dress captures the vibe.

Happy Monday!

Chambray Skater Dress

Dress and earrings, H&M. Heels, Steve Madden. Ring, Rachel Roy. Ankle bracelet, self made.

I have been eyeing my boyfriend’s chambray shirt for quite some time now. Yet I cannot come to terms with the fact that it won’t fit. While I was hoping to wear it as a dress and cinch it with a belt no matter how much rolling up and tucking in that I do it just does not want to cooperate! I was pretty bummed about that until I realized that I have a chambray skater dress sitting in the closet. Sitting and waiting patiently for its turn to see the light of day. Although initially I was going for the casual/boyfriend look, I’ll settle for this feminine silhouette instead.

Wishing you all a fabulous week!

Grecian Maxi Dress

maxi dress with leopard pumps

Dress, similar. Leopard pumps here. Ring, here.

What I love about maxi dresses is just how easy it is to create an elegant look with one piece. Or, you can dress down a maxi dress if you wish based on your shoe choice. I have worn this dress once in the past with gladiators and I found that it really complimented the Grecian maxi dress inspired cut. However this time I opted to dress them up a bit with a pair of Steve Madden leopard pumps.

Another thing I adore about this dress is the plunging neckline as well as the way the fabric flows. Do you prefer to wear your maxi dress casual or dressed up?
