Was feeling ultra feminine for running our errands so I opted for this cute cap sleeve tee with lace inserts and tons of glitter from D&G. The lace + glitter satisfied my girlish fix for the day. Maybe even week….

I’ve been really into pastel colours lately. I guess it is a Spring thing. Also I wasn’t kidding when I mentioned I was stuck in a blue phase. For this look I opted for a blue snake print lingerie type lace-trimmed tank with boyfriend jeans. With a moto style jersey pullover in grey. Never mixed baby blue and grey together before but was quite happy with how it turned out. And speaking of serendipitous encounters, this spot was no exception. While randomly cruising around, my boyfriend and I veered off one block North off a road we usually take and discovered this wicked marshy spot. What was really cool was that some of the road had flooded over from the marsh which made for an interesting drive.
As this look was inspired by a lingerie cami, House of Illusions is giving away a $50 gift card from Victoria’s Secret to one lucky reader!

Top, similar. Culottes, similar. Heels, Steve Madden. Sunnies, here.
Culottes are back on the runway for S/S 2014 and although they have never been a favourite of mine, I have learned to appreciate the cropped, wide-leg pant for the chic piece that it can be. That being said, I decided to pair my baby blue culottes with a cropped knit from Nasty Gal and silver stilettos to rev up the chic factor. Been feeling baby blue hues lately so chose these over a black or white pair. Now tell me, how do you feel about culottes and how do you plan on styling yours?
