Indian Summer

Top, Parasuco. Jacket, Old Navy. Skirt, American Eagle. Boots, Aldo. Shades, Ray Ban.

When in doubt, denim and skull tees are what I fall back on. There is something nostalgic about wearing denim in the Fall that is reminiscent to me of the first days of school. Indian Summer is always welcomed too as it provides a brief opportunity to resurface summer pieces.

Wearing yet another crystal skull and crossbones piece from my collection,  this one from Parasuco. Which also happens to be pretty much the only brand of denim I wore in school. Didn’t have much time to get ready for an event after work so I got out of my daytime office wear and threw some denim overtop this tee and flew out the door.

Happy Wednesday!

Strapless Bouffant Dress Epiphany

Dress, Epiphany. Shoes, Zara. Sunglasses, Ray Ban.

I’m a little behind on my posts because it has just been a hectic couple of weeks. But here is a look from the beginning of this Fall season of an outfit I wore to my friend’s wedding. I found this bouffant dress at a boutique in Elora, which is a small town just outside of Toronto. I spotted the dress in the store’s display window while walking down their historic downtown area. The dress was calling my name from the display window. Immediately drawn to this dress because of its pouffy silhouette I had to have it.

I have never owned a strapless bouffant dress before, and even though I didn’t have a purpose for this dress at the time we were still destined to be together. Who knew that a few months later I would find thee perfect shoes to go with it: neutral pumps with black lace overlay and gold studs. Epiphany moment!
What do you think?

Walking with Wilfred

Cardigan, Wilfred from Aritzia. Dress, H&M. Shoes, Aldo. Sunglasses, Ray Ban.

Wearing a Wilfred cardigan over a simple jersey dress I found at H&M once upon a season ago. Speaking of simple, I’ve been loving Aritzia lately for their trendy basics. In fact, the Wilfred line always catches my eye and I can’t seem to get enough of their pieces this Fall season. And this cardi was no exception.

The Wilfred cardigan is a great trendy basic with its quarter length sleeves and the cutest oversize buttons. In fact, I love the cardigan so much that I bought two of them! …However, now that I think about it, this isn’t the only duplicate Wilfred knit that I own. I just can’t help it, their knits are stylish and feel so luxurious to the touch. Are there any pieces you own duplicates of?

Happy Tuesday!
