Freeze

Sweater, RocaWear. Jeans, Kenneth Cole. Hat, Smart Set. Boots, Zigi New York. Gloves, Old Navy.

And then it was cold. Very cold. So cold that I had to dig my Russian style faux fur hat out from hibernation. I’ve never worn it before in all honesty, simply because the weather never called for it. But at -27 °C (-17 °F) I was not going to mess around! Indeed I can understand why the Russian style faux fur hat is so popular out there, man did that baby ever keep my head warm!

We managed to snap a few photos (it was too cold to stay outside for more than a minute) on our weekly run to replenish our west Indian groceries. Kind of ironic I think; to be picking up ingredients that make you think of nothing but sunshine and heat on a day when you can literally feel yourself freeze more and more with each passing minute outside!

Have a lovely day and stay warm! xoxo

Skeleton Grasp My Dark Virtue

Blouse, Lovely Day from Nasty Gal. Jeans, Zara. Jacket, Danier. Boots, Ralph Lauren. Bag, Coach. Belt, Guess. Ring, Nasty Gal. Scarf, H&M.

Really digging this Lovely Day blouse I just picked up from Nasty Gal. Initially I bought it with the intent of wearing it as shown here tucked into a pair of jeans, trousers or skirt. However, the blouse does have a longer cut at the back allowing for more versatility. The dark romantic florals of this sheer blouse flow oh so beautifully giving it a loose, yet feminine cut and the plunging V neckline is a bonus. Hence I am already pairing this blouse with a simple pair of leggings and over the knee boots in my head for its next outing.

Have a fabulous afternoon!

Pink Winter Leopard

pink leopard top from topshop
winter look pink leopard top with black skinny trousers
pink leopard top with wilfred cardigan
cute winter look pink leopard top
Blouse, Topshop. Skinny trousers and beanie, Zara. Cardigan, Wilfred (Aritzia). Boots, Ralph Lauren. Gloves, Winners. Bag, Gucci.

I have always been a fan of leopard print, however this season I was a bit fussy over having thee perfect leopard print. I found this blouse at Topshop, and not only were the size of the spots perfect, but they were pink! How could a girl resist a pink leopard top? Well…she doesn’t.

I wore my pink leopard top with a pair of skinny trousers and beanie that I picked up from Zara. It wasn’t too cold outside so I got away with wearing a 3/4 length sleeve cardigan and leather opera gloves. What’s your favourite animal print?
