Light Shadows

Crop top, Nasty Gal. Skirt, H&M. Sneakers, Converse. Shades, Ray Ban. Pink bracelet, The Bay.

This Light Shadows floral bustier is part of my Nasty Gal haul and has waited far too long to be worn. Since I’ve been on a mission to dress everything down lately I simply refused to wear this crop top any other way. Which made for the perfect excuse to run out on a lunch break and pick up a pair of pink Converse sneakers. I have to admit I’m kinda happy with how the look turned out and for finally being able to wear the top. On a side note, the boy and I went shopping for Ray Ban aviators for him and I ended up trying a pair on for fun. I have to be honest, I have never been a fan of the classical Ray Ban frame. However, for some reason, these ones were meant to be. I think the boy liked ’em too cause he ended up buying the sunglasses for me. Great day indeed!

Cat Eyes, Leopard Heels & Warm Autumn Days

Top, Anthropologie. Shorts, Guess. Sunnies, Dolce & Gabbana. Bag, Gucci. Heels, Aldo.

Much to my discontent I busted my oversized shades a few days ago and required a replacement asap. As a result my boo took me to look for a new pair. As I’m really digging cat eye sunglasses at the moment it was love at first sight when I spotted these Dolce & Gabbana sunnies! They stayed true to that deep amber/golden detailing style that I was attempting to replace while being a much better upgrade. Because of their colour I enjoy pairing these rich and deep hues with denim and other variations of that same shade. Which in this case worked out to be light beige, tan monogram, and slightly deeper leopard. What are some of the accessories that you can’t live without?

Eagle Shadows

Top, One Teaspoon from Nasty Gal. Skirt, American Eagle. Shoes, Steve Madden.

I just had to get one more wear out of this Eagle Shadows One Teaspoon top before the warm weather officially retired for the season. Ideally I would have worn this with a long flowing skirt. However, given our itinerary that was not an option. In fact, my boyfriend and I went hiking through a bunch of cave type trails and a long skirt would not have survived! While being forced to wear something casual I opted for a denim mini instead. While in the end it worked out, I was glad for wearing this wee top and a miniskirt. I couldn’t believe that the weather was as warm and stunning as it was 6 hours North of Toronto.

Hope you are all having a lovely week!
