Snowblind

winter look military style hoodie
faux fur lined boots
Hoodie, Forever 21. Shirt, Gap. Jeans, Zara. Boots, Roxy from Winners. Gloves and scarf, Old Navy.

Went out for a drive and coffee run on a very cold, late afternoon. I wore a grey military style hoodie, accessorized with snow white fleece gloves and a scarf to stay warm. I thought the plaid boots would be a good idea, not only to liven up the look with a subtle hint of print, but to keep me that much warmer with their ultra plush lining.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Indian Summer

Top, Parasuco. Jacket, Old Navy. Skirt, American Eagle. Boots, Aldo. Shades, Ray Ban.

When in doubt, denim and skull tees are what I fall back on. There is something nostalgic about wearing denim in the Fall that is reminiscent to me of the first days of school. Indian Summer is always welcomed too as it provides a brief opportunity to resurface summer pieces.

Wearing yet another crystal skull and crossbones piece from my collection,  this one from Parasuco. Which also happens to be pretty much the only brand of denim I wore in school. Didn’t have much time to get ready for an event after work so I got out of my daytime office wear and threw some denim overtop this tee and flew out the door.

Happy Wednesday!

Into the Blue

Top, Shadow Edge from Nasty Gal. Jacket, Old Navy. Skirt, American Eagle. Sneakers, Converse. Bag, Coach. Sunnies, Ray Ban.

Here is another look from our road trip. Same idea here, trying to find something that will last all day without sacrificing style. Always tending to overpack I limited myself to only the clothes that I could fit inside my overnight TNA bag (not an easy feat I assure you!). As such, I decided on a few key basics that would mix and match for the entire trip. Basics like a denim mini skirt and shorts, crop tops, long sleeve shirts, a few sneakers and sunnies. Figured those were safe bets…let me know what you think, and stay tuned for more looks using the aforementioned basic pieces.
