Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Channeling my inner 70’s vibe hippie/bohemian spirit with this look I created using mostly vintage pieces. Lace is still dominating the runways so it was a perfect time to revive this vintage lace top, and I incorporated a retro pair of flares and suede pumps to give off a bit more of that SS2015 vibe. I must add, that we were in fact in civilization, however it only felt appropriate to take these photos out in nature where my inner flower child could run free.

This is my take on wearing a dress over pants, as inspired by Chanel’s Fall/Winter ’12 show, or more recently, Kenzo’s 2014 Fall/Winter lineup. I’ll be honest, I was always and admirer of this trend just never had the courage to pull it off. However, the true motivator for me to finally layer a dress over pants (skinny jeans in this case) was the extreme cold and a longing for Spring. End result: love it, regret not trying it sooner.
