Finally had a chance to wear these Gentle Fawn chambray shorts earlier this week for a night out with my boo. These shorts have been patiently waiting in the closet since their acquisition a few weeks ago. Simply because our weather has not been very summer friendly. I wanted to keep the look dressy casual so I opted for a simple lace top with jewelled sandals and statement jewelry.

I’ve had this chiffon waterfall skirt for some time now, but only started wearing it recently; although I’m not sure why, because I love the way the fabric flows, and it’s pretty easy to style. Worn here with a recycled silk top, gladiators, and subtle gold detailing.

Embracing my long time fashion nemesis: the wide legged pant. I realize that I very well might be the only person in the blogosphere that was not excited with the re-emergence of this trend. But the truth is, I’ve never been a fan (felt the same way about them in high school!). However, I humbly surrender and do as the SS15 runways dictate. Next step, embracing Spring‘s 70’s and flare trend, yet again.
