One item that should be in your closet this Fall season is the military jacket. I’m fortunate enough to have one from a few years ago that I held onto, and I usually throw it into rotation around this time of year. Even more reasons to wear them, military jackets are everywhere this season and so I’m looking forward to styling this one in the coming months.
Another staple of mine for the autumn and winter months are leggings. When I saw this cute pair from Free People I was drawn to them immediately because of the cutout and button detailing along the sides. I typically wear leggings with flats or more casual shoes. But these leggings were just so cute that they deserved a nice feminine heel to compliment them. I’m really happy with how they worked out, especially with this military jacket for an ultra feminine military chic look.
I find it’s always a bonus when you can score leggings that not only look cute casual but can also be dressed up. Likewise if they are a statement piece on their own, for those days when you’re lazy but still want to look stylish. They also come in lots of other yummy colours for Fall (here).
