Grey Skies

Dress, H&M. Shrug and leggings, Winners. Shirt, Gap. Scarf, Garage. Boots, Roxy.

This striped jersey dress has become my go-to for those days when I am completely brain dead and unable to come up with anything to wear. Which typically happens during the work week. Although I’m usually lazy with the look and forgo the shrug and scarf altogether. For some reason I struggle with finding anything to wear so early in the morning. I know the smart thing to do is to plan your outfit the night before, but I just can’t bring myself to do that for some reason. I feel like I would change my mind in the morning and it would defeat the whole purpose. Am I the only one who struggles with this?

Monochrome Flannel

Jacket and Scarf, Garage. Top, H&M. Maxi skirt, Asos. Shoes, Steve Madden.

Every time I wear this jersey maxi skirt to work I always get teased that I wore my pajamas to work….but then again I work in a dept full of men…Personally, I love this maxi skirt. Not only is the jersey fabric lightweight and comfortable, it looks sweet with a pair of wedge kicks or flats. The grey colour also works well with the monochrome flannel jacket. Styled here with a simple black sweater and dressed up with a white scarf that has silver threads woven into it. What do you think, sleepwear or decent enough to go outside in?
