Wearing a mauve chiffon skater dress from Doe & Rae that I picked up last weekend with a pair of riding boots and a moto jacket for a casually chic holiday look. I simply adore the look created when pairing masculine style pieces like a biker jacket with lace adorned delicate fabrics. I chose riding boots in favour of heels to offset the femininity of the chiffon and to pair the boots with the biker jacket. What are some of your favourite contrasting styles?

Wore my leopard skater skirt to work the other day and I thought that it would look compliment my new Havana pendant nicely. So I slightly tweaked the work uniform (swapped a regular cap sleeve tee for this Nasty Gal crop) and voila: after work outing attire.

Wearing hands down one of my favourite band tees from Metallica’s Beyond Magnetic tour. Absolutely love contrasting an edgy band tee with a feminine pleated midi skirt. Although peach has never been a dominant colour in my wardrobe. However with its popularity this season, it was hard to resist adding another item in this pretty hue. Due to the simplicty of both pieces I decided to incorporate some statement accessories, like these Dolce Vita Tessah Black Leather Lace-Up Heels. And of course some bold lapis jewelry from Samantha Wills.
