Crossfire Cutouts

Dress, Nasty Gal (similar here). Bag, Marc Jacobs. Sneakers, Converse. Watch, Esquire.

If this cutout bodycon dress could talk, it would tell that it has been neglected. I have a very bad habit of buying something new (typically unique pieces) and then shoving said piece in my closet. And saving it more as a collection piece and not wearing it until quite some time after. Although in this case I will choose to blame the ridiculously long winter we had instead. I adore the cutouts in this dress so much! At first I was worried that it was too formal for every day wear, however a pair of Chucks seemed to resolved the issue.

Wishing you all a fabulous day!

Jacket, Danier. KISS band tee. Jeans, Forever 21. Sneakers here. Belt, old. Shades, Ray Ban.

Bought tickets to the upcoming KISS tour with Def Leppard in August. Very excited, can’t wait! So it only seemed fitting to wear a KISS band tee (that was donated to me by a friend from their last show that I missed) to keep the good vibes going throughout the day…

Enjoy your day!

Pink Bunny

Sweater, Wilfred (Aritzia). Tee, Macy’s. Skirt, H&M. Sneakers, Converse. Sunnies, Ray Ban.

I have never improvised an outfit before. Typically I plan the whole thing out and then throw it on in the hopes that everything will work. This look was completely the opposite. Having no idea what I was going to wear and being pressed for time I tried something new…literally grabbed random pieces not focusing on the entire look. Hence the result was that I settled on pieces I would never otherwise mix together. For instance a wool mini skirt, a tee with a cute little pink bunny on it (which I randomly picked up while staying in Buckhead) and my Wilma Flintstone pearls with Converse sneakers. I have to admit, the whole process was out of character for me yet quite liberating. While I was genuinely pleased with the random results I would love to know what’s your routine?
