Lovely Day

I’ve been longing to wear this blouse with leggings and over the knee boots exactly as pictured here for weeks and weeks. But it’s been impossible because we have just been buried in snow and ice. However we finally caught a break the other day where the weather was actually decent and not bone chilling cold. Neon Knights

Went for a late afternoon stroll to catch the sunset with my beau wearing some basics: checkered shirt, skinnies, and military style coat with over the knee boots that I have been abusing lately. The funny thing is, when the over the knee boot style initially came out I really couldn’t care less. It was actually my mom who suggested at the time that I should go out and buy a pair because she thinks they would suit me. Well, I am very glad I listened to her because I just can’t seem to get enough of them lately.

Vintage Houndstooth

By looking at my last few posts I think it’s become pretty apparent that I am stuck in a skirt phase. I think I’ve subconsciously decided that I am done with Winter for the season and this look fortifies that. This work outfit features a vintage houndstooth skirt with a cobalt blue sweater. Wore riding boots instead of booties for a more laid back feel for dinner after work. Saw this spectacular sunset on our way to eat and managed to take a few photos. Which in itself was a pure fluke as it had all disappeared within a mere matter of minutes.
