Well you guys I have to tell ya, living the country life isn’t without its ups and downs. It’s true how they say you typically take things for granted until you have to do without. For instance water. That being said, having grown up in Toronto I never worried about water; where it came from or so much as how it made its way to the sink or shower.

Just when I thought it was time to retire my favourite jacket, winter returned with a vengeance. Even today it was snowing. And I know this is going to sound totally crazy – but I wasn’t ready for winter to be over. Like I mentioned before, I completely became one with winter this year. As excited as I am for Spring, I felt like I hadn’t experienced enough of winter. Perhaps having a fun pink faux fur jacket like this one helped. Floral Accents to Dress Up a Casual Outfit
My absolute go to’s this Fall season for casual wear have been this pink lace up front sweater and distressed 7 for All Mankind jeans. Both pieces are beyond comfortable and I’ve pretty much been living in them. That being said, as cute as both pieces are they make for a very casual outfit. Which I’m not against but I do prefer to be dressed up just a little bit. While I love pendant necklaces, I don’t typically wear them with lace up sweaters. Reason being I find them too distracting on the neckline. I feel that the lace up in itself is a statement therefore don’t want to draw any attention away from that.
