Eagle Shadows

Top, One Teaspoon from Nasty Gal. Skirt, American Eagle. Shoes, Steve Madden.

I just had to get one more wear out of this Eagle Shadows One Teaspoon top before the warm weather officially retired for the season. Ideally I would have worn this with a long flowing skirt. However, given our itinerary that was not an option. In fact, my boyfriend and I went hiking through a bunch of cave type trails and a long skirt would not have survived! While being forced to wear something casual I opted for a denim mini instead. While in the end it worked out, I was glad for wearing this wee top and a miniskirt. I couldn’t believe that the weather was as warm and stunning as it was 6 hours North of Toronto.

Hope you are all having a lovely week!

About a Girl

Top and dress, Chicwish. Shoes, Chinese Laundry. Pink bracelet, The Bay.

I pass by this spot every day on my way to/from work and it is just this amazing, magical canopy of weeping willow trees that stretch as far as you can see. I’ve been eyeing this spot for a while, biding my time until I was wearing the perfect little number to prance around in…None other than my “fairy/princess” ballet style tulle dress as I like to call it. Readers of this blog will note that I do own this cute little ballet dress in black as well. This dress offers versatility in that you can dress it down with a pair of cute sneakers (like here) or you can dress it up, as I opted here with a crochet top and pair of Chinese Laundry peep-toe pumps.

Hope you are all having a fabulous week!
