Skeletons In My Closet

Skull tank, Winners. Black tank, Joe Fresh. Cardigan, Forever 21. Jeans, Zara. Boots, Aldo. Sunnies, Ray Ban.

Found some more skeletons in my closet. Yet another skull and crossbone piece making its way into the light of day. Worn here with slouchy over the knee boots that were feelin’ real lazy that day and just would not stay up over the knee no matter how many times I hiked them up. Hence I went to Winners in search of a pair of new boots but came home with a skull tank instead, go figure. Like I really need any more skeletons in my closet.

Enjoy your weekend!

Blackened Yellow

Jacket, Miss London from Winners. Dress, Winners. Shoes, Kelsi Dagger from Net A La Mode. Necklace, vintage.

As I am typing this I realize that there is a black and yellow trend between the last two posts…At least this isn’t a casual look or else I’d be in trouble by my own standards. I found this dress sitting pretty and all alone on a Winners rack once upon a time ago and finally debuted it to a wedding recently. I do own another all black cocktail dress that is almost an exact replica of this one, however I really dug the print on this one. The yellow satin sash enhances the lovely hourglass silhouette oh so well and that was enough to justify the redundant cocktail dress purchase.

Have a wonderful day – and thank you for reading! xo

Yellow

Jacket, Miss London from Winners. Hoodie, RocaWear. Concert Tee. Yellow tee, Winners. Jeans, Hollister. Shoes, Steve Madden. Shades, Ray Ban.

Initially I wasn’t going to post this look as there is really nothing special about it. But then I got thinking…essentially this is a personal style blog. And as such, whether boring or not, at the end of the day it is my style.

Having said all that, whenever I am lazy or just don’t feel like dressing up, I fall back on my uniform: denim skinnies, concert tee and a colour layer underneath. This look features a Coldplay X&Y concert tee, which also happens to be the first concert I ever went to!
