Well thankfully I’m a lot more timely posting on social media than I am on the blog or else these pictures would have been a real waste. We took these photos for a collaboration with
Lemonberry where I picked out my five favourite fall pieces from the store.
As tempting as it was to just round up a whole bunch of pieces I adored, I wanted to create an entire fall look with the pieces I chose. After browsing through many nice pieces I ultimately settled on an off-white knit with lantern sleeves, plaid wide leg pants and a fuchsia pink cardigan/coat as my key pieces.
I really adore the cream knit with it’s subtly romantic sleeves. It’s actually a sweet juxtaposition between the raw hemline of the shoulder to the romantic lantern sleeve. A lovely pairing indeed.
This classy light knit is even more relevant now in the winter time.
I’ve never been into the wide leg pant trend and usually wear it under duress lol. But this time for once I truly loved the plaid wide leg pants. For a wide leg fit they managed to accentuate all the right places in a seemingly fitting way. I especially liked that they were cropped, which meant that for me at 5’2 it was full length pants that for once I didn’t have to hem.
I mean really, does anything need to be said about this coat? It pretty much speaks for itself with that vibrant fuchsia pink.
Looks aside, it’s super comfy and a lot warmer than expected. Would hold up on mild winter days nicely.
Although I debated between different shades of beige for the boots I ultimately settled on my cowboy ankle booties. I thought they would compliment the plaid wide leg pants in a subtly edgy style.
It was important for me to style an entire look as opposed to picking out random items that I loved. So to complete my 5 fall favourites I selected a wine red crossbody bag and the most adorable gold heart locked.
Hope you enjoyed my roundup.
