I’ve had these photos since late summer but I didn’t get a chance to post them then. And even though it’s full on autumn up here, I know that a lot of you live in much warmer
climates and have summer weather all year round. And I can’t tell you how pretty incredible that sounds right about now. As we head into another winter…But I digress.
Funny story with this cross front halter style dress. I couldn’t figure out how to properly tie it up for the life of me while trying it on. I almost parted ways with the dress but in the end I couldn’t part with it. It just gave me these elegant old Hollywood glam kinda vibes. I asked the girl who was ringing me up if she knew how to tie the dress up. Turns out she had also tried it on but couldn’t figure it out either. We shared a laugh over it and in the end I figured I’d take my chances with it. Decent markdown helped that decision.
The halter dress turned out being a nice addition to my wardrobe. I had expected some sort of a cross front although not one as quite revealing as this one is. But I do like the dress and the feminine energy boost it gave me. And hey – yolo. A new thing I’ve come to adopt and just live to the fullest.
Of note, I am quite petite. For someone with average height this cross front halter dress would sit more below the knee. The dress would pair just as nicely with ankle boots. Had to go with cowboy booties to finish off the look. Not sure how I feel about full on cowboy boots just yet. Haven’t lived out here in the countryside long enough I guess.
